i think it’s worth noting that this was like. the one and only time i’m aware of where this man interacted with the fandom in any capacity. the one thing that made him feel the need to speak up. expressing ambiguous approval of symbiote sunglasses and/or eddie in “are you nasty” booty shorts was important enough for him to go public with his feelings and nothing else came close
I feel like not everyone reblogging this realizes that this is the dude who wrote the one and only Venom run where Eddie and the Venom symbiote have a lasting canonical romantic relationship and canonical spawn/child they co-parent as a family
